<b>Wahab Riaz Biography</b></h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
<br />
<br />
Wahab Riaz (Punjabi, Urdu: وہاب ریاض) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a left-arm fast bowler and a right-hand batsman. Riaz is a former student of Aitchison College, Lahore. He frequently bowls at speeds of around 92 miles per hour (148 km/h) and has reached 95 to 96 miles per hour (153 to 154 km/h).[1]Riaz was chosen in the squad for the tri-series in Bangladesh which also included India and in his first match against Bangladesh; he finished with 3 wickets for 22 runs in 7 overs and in the next match although he took two Indian wickets he conceded 85 runs.Wahab made his Test debut against England in the third test of the 2010 series. England batted first and Wahab took 5/63 in the first innings. In Pakistan's first innings he came into bat at number 3 and made 27 runs.He next played for Pakistan in the Test series against South Africa in October 2010 he participated in 4 ODIs. He was selected to play in the first Test later in that series he took two wickets those of Graeme Smith and Hashim Amla however towards the end of the day he picked up a side strain. He did not bowl the following day. A scan showed that Riaz had picked up an injury which takes 4–5 weeks to recover from and thus he missed the rest of the Test series.In March 2011 he played for Pakistani team in at least four matches with an above average performance. However he really came in the limelight at the Pakistan Vs India semi-final of the 2011 Cricket World Cup, when he replaced Shoaib Akhtar and took 5 wickets.Shortly after the World Cup, Pakistan toured the West Indies for two Tests, five ODIs, and a T20I; Riaz was included in the squad.[5] He took two wickets in the T20I, which Pakistan lost,[6] and played in four out of the five ODIs, taking seven wickets at an average of 25.28 and finishing as Pakistan's leading wicket-taker in the series.[7] In a report to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the teams performance in the West Indies, coach Waqar Younis commented that Riaz had an "average" tour.[8] In May Pakistan toured Ireland for a two-match ODI series, and although Riaz was included in the squad he did not play a match.After the tour of Ireland, Riaz entered talks with Kent, eventually signing to play for them in county cricket. The club had suffered injuries to their fast bowlers and Riaz was drafted in to bolster their line up.[11] He made his twenty20 debut for Kent against Glamorgan on 11 June. He took a single wicket, that of Chris Cooke, and guided his team to victory with 32 not out, hitting the winning runs after being sent in up the order.[12] On his home debut Riaz took a hat-trick – dismissing Chris Taylor, Ed Young, and Richard Coughtrie – and recording figures of 5 wickets for 17 runs (5/17) against Gloucestershire to help his team to an eight-wicket victory. It was the second time a player had taken a T20 hat-trick for Kent,[13] and was the first time Riaz took five wickets in the format, beating previous best bowling figures of 3/14.[14] During his spell with Kent Riaz took 13 first-class wickets at an average of 33.53,[15] 9 in list A cricket at 13.33,[16] and 20 wickets in t20 matches at an average of 19.85.[17]In August, Riaz was awarded a category B central contract with the PCB; six players were in category A, eight (including Riaz) in B, and nine in C.[18] When Pakistan toured Zimbabwe in September, Riaz was rested with the selectors taking the opportunity to blood a number of new and inexperienced players.[19] Though recalled to the Test squad for the three-match series against Sri Lanka,[20] he did not play in the series[21] and was dropped from the ODI squad to face the same opponents.[22] Originally rested from the Test team to give younger players a chance,[19] Riaz's hiatus from the squad extended to six months. His continued absence was not explained by the PCB. He was recalled to Pakistan's Test squad to face England for three matches in the United Arab Emirates. While he was out of the side, Riaz played for the National Bank of Pakistan in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy. Before the squad was announced he had taken 30 wickets in the competition at an average of 24.86, and 213 runs at an average of 35.50.<br />

<b>Asad Shafiq Biography</b></h2>
<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
Asad Shafiq (Urdu: اسد شفیق, born 28 January 1986 in Karachi) is a Pakistani international cricketer. A right-hand batsman and occasional leg-break bowler, he made his One Day International debut against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup on 21 June 2010.[1]</div>
<div>
He has played for Karachi Whites, Karachi Blues, Karachi Dolphins, Karachi Zebras, North West Frontier Province and Sind.Shafiq made his International debut against Bangladesh in the 2010 Asia Cup at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium he scored 17 runs from 19 balls and was stumped by Mushfiqur Rahim in what was a dead rubber as neither side could progress to the final. Shafiq was next selected when three Pakistani players were involved in Spot-fixing allegations the three players Mohammad Aamer, Mohammad Asif and test captain Salman Butt Shafiq was selected alongside fast bowler emerging fast-bowler Mohammad Irfan. He got his maiden fifty in ODI cricket against England on 12 September 2010.[2]</div>
<div>
On the back of his good performances during the tour he was selected to play in the five-match ODI series against South Africa and a two-match test series against them as well[3] He was promoted to opener in the first two ODI's and struggled in the role, therefore he was moved down the order to his preferred number 4 position just below Younus Khan, Shafiq excelled in that position and displayed his talent as a batsman. He was however rested for the final ODI in place of veteran Mohammad Yousuf.</div>
<div>
Shafiq was not selected for the first test match in the two match test series against South Africa but after a horrible stroke by Umar Akmal he made his debut in the following match scoring 61 in his debut innings but not getting a chance to bat in the second innings as Pakistan already managed to salvage a draw.</div>
<div>
Shafiq was selected for the New Zealand series but didn't play the first Twenty20 International, Pakistan performed poorly and therefore Shafiq was given his Twenty20 debut in the following match in place of left-handed Fawad Alam. He played both tests in the series, which Pakistan won 1–0. During the first match of the series Shafiq scored 83 in the first innings and was not required to bat in the second innings as Pakistan won by 10 wickets.</div>
<div>
Shafiq was selected for Pakistan's 2011 World Cup squad but did not play in the first four matches, before making his debut against Zimbabawe in the fifth match, inplace of an injured Umar Akmal, in which he scored his highest ODI score of 78*, guiding Pakistan to a 7 wicket win. In his last match against Australia, Shafiq has played a very matured inning of a composed 46 runs, anchoring and setting up a good platform for later players to finish a win – putting the Pakistani team at the top of their pool. He also scored a watchful 30 runs against India in the semi-final in Mohali.</div>
<div>
Shafiq scored his first test century in the opening Test of Pakistan's two-match series against Bangladesh in December 2011. He scored 104 runs in Pakistan's first innings.[4] He played in all three Tests of Pakistan's series against England in the United Arab Emirates in early 2012, scoring 167 runs at an average of 33.40 as Pakistan won the series 3–0.</div>

<b>Rashid Latif Biography</b></h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
Rashid Latif (Urdu: راشد لطیف; born 14 October 1968) is a former Pakistani wicket keeper and a right handed batsman who represented the Pakistani cricket team in Test cricket and One Day International matches, between 1992 and 2003. He also served as the captain of the Pakistan cricket team in 2003. Latif is the current coach of the Afghan National Cricket TeamLatif started playing for the Pakistan national cricket team in 1992 after the 1992 Cricket World Cup. He impressed the national selectors by scoring 50 runs in his Test debut, However it did not cement his place in the national squad, throughout his career because he was competing with another Pakistani wicketkeeper, Moin Khan. This led to ongoing changes of wicket keepers for the next decade. In 1996, he announced his retirement after conflicts with some team players and the team management. He returned back to the Pakistan team and became the captain of Pakistan in 1998.<br />
Latif remained out of the national squad until 2001, when after a string of poor performances, the Pakistan team replaced Moin Khan, who was selected as the captain. After returning back into the squad, he somewhat cemented his place by keeping the wicket and giving a string of good batting performances. The highlight of his career came when after the 2003 Cricket World Cup, he was announced as the captain of the Pakistan team. Under his leadership, Pakistan successfully experimented with several new players and the team gave positive results. He was also involved with uniting the players through his captaincy in both on and off the cricket field. However, indifferences between Latif and the team management again surfaced in 2003–2004, which resulted in him giving away the captaincy to former Pakistan batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq. He was omitted from the squad and since then was never recalled in the team, despite his attempts to get back into the squad during 2003–2005.<br />
In April 2006, Latif has retired from First class cricket as he toured with the Pakistani senior players to play against Indian senior players in April 2006. This series is played between players who have retired from professional cricket. Also, according to statistics available on ESPN cricinfo sport's website, it can be seen that Latif has not participated in first class cricket since 2005. His last international match was in 2006, when he played for Lashings cricket club, a club in England.Latif has notably became batting coach of the Afghanistan National Cricket team[2] Latif also stated that the Afghan players were keen to learn from him.[3] Latif further added that he liked the challenge of coaching the team and helping at grass-roots level of Afghan Cricket [4] in July 2010 he also talked about having a Pakistan-Afghanistan cricket series in late 2010 to help Pakistan return to staging international cricket.[5] As a wicket-keeper Latif also commented on the form of Pakistani wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal by stating that "Kamran has gained weight for a wicket-keeper, his wicket-keeping has been poor due to that and a lot of work load as a cricketer. I strongly suggest to all wicket-keepers that when they are struggling they take a rest and then comeback to the scene stronger as poor wicket-keeping can destroy you confidence as a batsman."[6] In August 2010 the coach of the Afghan team Kabir Khan announced that he was going to leave his post because of consistent interference by the board. This led to Latif who was batting coach at the time to be named his successor. However just after that Latif announced his resignation also citing consistent interference caused by the board.<br />

<b>Fawad Alam Biography</b></h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
Full name Fawad Alam<br />
Born October 8, 1985, Karachi<br />
Current age 27 years 320 days<br />
Major teams Pakistan, Karachi Cricket Association Under-19s, Karachi Dolphins, Karachi Whites, National Bank of Pakistan, Pakistan A, Pakistan Customs, Pakistan Emerging Team, Uva Next<br />
Batting style Left-hand bat<br />
Bowling style Slow left-arm orthodox<br />
Relation Father - Tariq Alam<br />
Fawad Alam, son of Pakistan's famous first-class cricketer Tariq Alam, made his first-class debut at the age of 17. He was duly picked to represent Pakistan at the U-19 World Cup based on his performances with Pakistan Customs and Karachi on the domestic circuit.<br />
An unbeaten 43 in the semi-final against India not only guided Pakistan to the final (which they went on to win), but also marked his status as an immensely talented left-handed allrounder (something that Pakistan agonisingly lacks).<br />
He was then named in the U-19 squad to play the touring Sri Lankans and South Africa Academy teams. That same year, he was invited to join the National Cricket Academy (NCA), a pool of talented individuals to be groomed for the elite level.<br />
His real breakthrough was the 2006-07 season where Fawad outshone the rest by miles. He guided Karachi Dolphins to the final of the Twenty20 Cup (losing to defending champions Sialkot Stallions) where he not only grabbed a five-wicket haul and scored a valiant 54, but also went home with the Man of the Final, Man of the Series, Best Batsman and Best Bowler awards.<br />
He also scored heavily in the longer version of the game namely the Quaid-e-Azam trophy where he finished as the fifth highest run-scorer. In the shorter version of the game, he turned out to be a useful ingredient of the National Bank mix that lifted the Patron's Cup, almost carried Karachi Dolphins to the ABN AMRO Cup final (second highest run-scorer and highest wicket-taker in the competition).<br />
After an intense, but profitable, first-class season, Fawad was selected to captain the Pakistan Academy's tour of Bangladesh where his performance was deemed adequate enough for a call to the national squad. Fawad, however, failed to shine on his international debut in the searing Abu Dhabi conditions aged 21. Surprisingly not required to bowl at all, Fawad also fell first ball to cap off a lacklustre debut. The selectors, however, kept their trust in the young allrounder, giving him opportunities in Pakistan's limited-overs squads. Fawad was the leading run-getter during Pakistan Academy's tour of Africa in September-October 2008; he scored 302 not out in a four-day game against Kenya.<br />

He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. He initially was subject to something of a claim for an international cricketing record, as his debut performance was believed to have taken place at the age of 14 years and 227 days, then a world-record, sparking investigations over the legitimacy of his age claims.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.1875px; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
He was soon taken away from international play after struggling initially in the mid-1990s, but was recalled against <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_cricket_team" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Australian cricket team">Australia</a> and <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimbabwean_cricket_team" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Zimbabwean cricket team">Zimbabwe</a> in 2002.</div>

Hasan also captained the Pakistan A side in early 2006 to Abu Dhabhi in a tournament which consisted of India A, Sri Lanka A, UAE, Kenya and Netherlands. Pakistan A reached the final of the tournament where they faced off against rivals India. Hasan scored 105* . Pakistan went on to win the tournament and he was credited for good captaincy. He had a very good tournament as a captain and he also had a very good performance with the bat as well as other Pakistan A players like Bazid Khan and Taufeeq Umar. Hasan has been a talking point lately in the Pakistan selection committee but has yet to make a comeback. Hasan currently plays domestic Pakistan cricket and also plays in the current Pakistan A team. Hasan was replaced as captain by Bazid Khan for disciplinary reasons.</div>

Hasan had always been a prolific run scorer in Pakistan's domestic cricket but had always been overlooked by selectors because he could not translate his domestic success to the international stage. Frustrated with the PCB, Hasan made a decision that has seemingly ended all hopes of his return to international cricket as he joined the unofficial <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Cricket_League" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Indian Cricket League">Indian Cricket League</a> (ICL). In his first season with the ICL he was the leading run scorer.</div>

<b>Muhammad Amir Biography</b></h2>

<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Mohammad Amir (Urdu: محمد عامر, born 13 April 1992) also known asMohammad Aamer, is a Pakistani international cricketer, whose suspension and subsequent five-year ban curtailed his promising career. He is a left-arm fast bowler, who opened the bowling in all formats of the game. He made his first-classdebut in 2007, and his first One-Day International and Test appearance in 2009 inSri Lanka, at the age of 17. However, he played his first international match during the 2009 ICC World Twenty20, where he played in every game, helping the national side win the tournament.[1][2]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Amir was touted as having the potential to be a leading fast bowler by formerPakistani left arm fast bowler Wasim Akram[3] who picked him out as a prospect in 2007.[2] Since Amir's establishment in the international arena, former Pakistani batsman Rameez Raja, as well as Akram himself, have stated that "He is much cleverer than [Akram] at 18".[3]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">On 29 August 2010, he was implicated in allegations of spot-fixing and is currently serving a five-year ban for allegedly bowling two-deliberate no-balls, Amir however has announced that he plans to appeal the verdict handed out by his prosecutor the International Cricket Council.[4] In November 2011, Amir was convicted, along with Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif, of conspiracy charges relating to spot-fixing. He was given a six-month prison sentence. On 1 February 2012 Amir was released from prison after serving three months in jail.Mohammad Amir was born in 1992 in the remote village of Changa Bangial, Gujjar Khan, Punjab. He was the youngest of seven children. From a young age, he played street cricket, often trying to emulate his hero, Wasim Akram. He was quoted as saying, "Wasim Akram is my favourite, he's my idol. When I used to watch him on TV, I would try to see what exactly he was doing with the ball. Then I would go outside and imitate his actions and bowling."[6]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">In 2003, at the age of 11, Amir was spotted at a local tournament and invited to join the sports academy set up by the Bajwa in Rawalpindi.</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">After joining the national team, Amir moved to Lahore with his family to be closer to top-flight cricket facilities.Amir was first selected as a fast bowler by the former Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram at a fast bowling camp in 2007. Amir, then 15 years old, went on a tour of England with the Pakistan U-19 cricket team and was one of the leading bowlers. He took 8 wickets at an average of 16.37. In 2008 he took 4 wickets in successive matches against Sri Lanka and England. In this tri-nation tournament played in Sri Lanka he again excelled with his speed and swing bowling taking 9 wickets at average of 11.22 in three matches. Due to injury he played only a limited part in the 2008 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup held in Malaysia.[2] In March 2008, he made his domestic debut for the Rawalpindi Rams whilst concurrently representing the National Bank of Pakistan. His debut domestic season resulted in him taking 55 first-class wickets for NBP. He took a lot of top order wickets including those of players in the national side. This strong domestic form resulted in him making his international breakthrough in the 2009 Twenty20 World Cup.</span></span></div>

Umar Amin (born 16 October 1989) is a Pakistani international cricketer. Amin made his One Day International debut in the opening match of the 2010 Asia Cup against Sri Lanka.[1] Amin made his international debut using the bat of Sachin Tendulkar<br />
He was also named in the squad for Pakistan's two-match Test series against Australia, held in England.He made his Test debut on 13 July 2010 in the opening match of the series at Lord's.He began playing cricket in 2001 when he was in 7th grade. It was his father’s passion and he wanted him to play cricket. He was not initially very keen but eventually got selection for U16 for the first time. After which he developed trust in it and then began to perform well at the U19 stage to get selected for the Pakistan U19 side. After which he was called up for Pakistan A squad. He also got a call up from National Bank of Pakistan and was selected in the NBP team for which Kamran Akmal was captain. A couple of years later Pakistan A team which toured Australia.<br />
He gave A level exams in May 2010.Amin's international career started in the 2010 Asia Cup when he made his debut against Sri Lanka and scoring 7 runs in his debut match. He made his debut using a bat of Sachin Tendulkar, gifted to him by Shoaib Akhtar after a match winning innings for Rawalpindi in a domestic game. In the second match against India which Pakistan lost he scored 5 runs and in the final match he then scored a fine 22 before being run-out in a bizarre manner. as Amin had punched a delivery to long-off and completed an easy single in the 22nd over with Pakistan coasting at 135 for 1. After grounding his bat, Amin started to walk across the stumps to take up his position at the non-striker's end because the bowler, Mahmudullah, was bowling from round the wicket. While doing so, Amin was out of the crease with his bat was in the air, and the bowler - not facing the batsman, and unaware of Amin's position - perfunctorily whipped off the bails. Shakib Al Hasan, fielding at extra cover, noticed Amin was out of his crease and appealed for a run-out which was then given by the third Umpire.<br />
Amin's test career got of to a somewhat slower start. He made his debut against Australia and scored 1 run in his debut innings before scoring 33 in the second innings as Pakistan lost by 150 runs<br />
Amin, however contributed valuable runs in his T20I debut, scoring 47 off 34 balls, the highest in his team, leading them to victory.<br />

<b>Nasir Jamshed Biography</b></h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
Nasir Jamshed (Urdu: ناصرجمشد; born 6 December 1989) is a cricketer who represents Pakistan cricket team in One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. He is an aggressive left-handed opening batsman.Nasir made his first-class debut at the age of just 15 and was soon selected to the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team for a series against Sri Lanka, making 204 in the second innings on his debut.[2] At Twenty20 level, he made his debut for the Lahore Lions in April 2005, at the age of 15 year and 140 days, making him the youngest ever player to play in Twenty20 matches (ESPNcricinfo incorrectly lists two other players, Shah Mureed and Rana Kalangutkar, as having debuted at younger ages).[3]<br />
In the 2005–06 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy series he scored over 800 runs and earned selection in the Patron's XI side to play Zimbabwe. He made 182 runs and within a week was playing ODI cricket for Pakistan.In his debut against Zimbabwe, he opened the batting and smashed 61 off just 48 deliveries which saw him win the Man of the Match award. In his second ODI, he hit 74 off 64 balls, becoming only third Pakistani to make consecutive half centuries in first and second matches.<br />
In the 2008 Asia Cup, Jamshed scored two consecutive half centuries, 53 runs against India before he was retired hurt and 52 not out against Bangladesh, at the National Stadium, Karachi.[4][5] From these performances, he has really strengthened his position as an opener in the Pakistani ODI squad. During the Asia Cup 2008 Jamshed's fitness was questioned by the commentators and he visibly seemed over weight. This lack of fitness also lead him to miss the following Twenty20 tournament in Canada, and a 3 match ODI series against the West Indies. His exclusion from the national team continued in January 2009 when he was passed over for Khurram Manzoor during the Sri Lanka ODI series.<br />
He made his first one day international century against India on 18 March 2012 in Bangladesh at Shere Bangla National Stadium Mirpur at the 2012 Asia Cup. He scored 112 off just 104 balls and was involved in a 224 run partnership with Mohammad Hafeez, which is the second best opening partnership for Pakistan against any team and first best partnership against India in one day internationals. They eclipsed Aamer Sohail and Saeed Anwar's record of 144 runs which was made in 1996.<br />

<b>Zulqarnain Haider Biography</b></h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
Zulqarnain Haider (Urdu: ذولقرنین حیدر, born 23 April 1986 in Lahore) is Pakistani cricketer who has played for his national team. Having played for Pakistan Under-19s, Haider was called up to the senior national side in 2010 as cover for wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal during their tour of England. Haider made his Test debut during the tour, but a broken finger limited him to one match. Later that year he made his One Day International (ODI) debut against South Africa, against whom he has played all four of his ODIs to date. After the fourth match Haider fled to London amid fears for his safety. A right-handed batsman, Haider has represented both Lahore Blues and Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited in Pakistani domestic cricket, and now plays for Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd.Haider was born in the Pakistani city of Lahore. His mother died from cancer in 1998 when he was 12. He decided that he would donate half his match fee from his test debut to the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre.[1] In August 2010, Haider's father, who was suffering from hepatitis C, slipped into a coma.With regular wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal suffering from a prolonged period of poor form in both his roles as 'keeper and batsman, Pakistan were searching for backup. As a result, Haider was drafted into Pakistan's 17-man squad to tour South Africa in January 2007.[3] He made his Twenty20 International debut on the tour, assuming 'keeping duties from Akmal who acted as a specialist batsman. South Africa won by ten wickets, and Haider contributed five runs to Pakistan's total of 129 all out.[4]<br />
Haider's had to wait more than three years for his next international match. In July 2010, Pakistan toured England for four Tests, five ODIs, and two T20Is; Haider was included in the touring squad. After a pair and several missed chances behind the stumps, Akmal was dropped in favour of Haider.[5] In the first innings Haider was dismissed first ball by fast bowler Stuart Broad, and nearly succumbed to his first ball in the second innings. Initially given out to spinner Graeme Swann, Haider reviewed the decision and was reprieved. Haider exploited the opportunity and made 88 before he was dismissed, and enthusiastically celebrated his half-century.[6] Days later it was revealed that Haider had suffered a fractured finger that could have been exacerbated after being hit on the hand by a throw from Stuart Broad.[7] He played no further part in the series. When Pakistan played South Africa in October 2010 for two T20Is and five ODIs, Haider was included in the 15-man squad as the only specialist wicket-keeper.[8] In the first four ODIs Haider took three catches and scored 48 runs.<br />

<b>Sohail Tanveer Biography</b></h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
Sohail Tanvir (Urdu : سہیل تنویر, born 12 December 1984 in Rawalpindi, Punjab) is a Pakistani cricketer, who has gained repute for his unorthodox left arm bowling action and particularly for the success it has gained him in the Twenty20 format of the gameAn allrounder, he is a hard-hitting left-handed batsman and an unorthodox left-arm fast-medium bowler who also bowls occasional left-arm orthodox spin. Despite not having taken a single wicket during his ten Twenty20 matches domestically, he was selected for Pakistan's squad for the inaugural World Twenty20 after Shoaib Akhtar was sent home. He made his Twenty20 debut in the tournament, and took six wickets in six matches, with best bowling figures of 3 for 31 in four overs against Australia. Though considered an allrounder, Tanvir did not get a chance to bat in the tournament until the final, where he made his first international runs, with a six off his first ball, aiding Pakistan back into the game.<br />
After impressing in the ICC World Twenty20, he was selected to play in the ODI series against South Africa in October 2007. He was then selected for the tour of India, and took eight wickets in the ODI series. He also took part in the Test series that followed, making his debut in place of the injured Umar Gul. On debut at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, he took three wickets which included his first international Test cricket causality Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid. In Asia Cricket Cup, June 2008, Pakistan played their first game against Hong Kong at Karachi. In that match, Pakistan's top order struggled to get grips with Hong Kong bowlers before Sohail Tanvir set up a 100 run stand along with Fawad Alam for the 8th wicket. Sohail scored his maiden ODI 50 in that match. He scored 59 off just 55 balls which took Pakistan to a respectable score of 288. After that, in the match vs. Sri Lanka, Tanvir took his first 5 wickets haul. He ended at 5/48 in 10 overs. After the 2009 ICC World Twenty20Shortly after the World Twenty20, Tanvir was on a one-year break because of injuries. He missed the tour of New Zealand in November 2009, the controversial tour against Australia in January 2010. He also missed the chance to participate for Pakistan in the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2010 Asia Cup, and he missed the tour of England in August 2010. He recovered from injury in October 2010 and was selected to participate in the test series against South Africa under new captain Misbah-ul-Haq.The doctors however advised rest for Sohail Tanvir to help him recuperate fully from the new injury.He completely recovered from his knee injury by December and was selected for all three formats against New Zealand. He gave insights into his injury and stated at one point he couldn't even walk and that doctors thought he would really struggle to walk. However, he recovered really quickly after that and the surgery he had in Australia in January was paid off.[4] At the last minute of the team departing for the New Zealand tour, Tanvir was replaced because the selectors thought he was not fully fit.[5] After missing the Twenty20 Internationals the selectors recalled Tanvir after he had proved his performance in domestic games coupled with poor performances from a depleted Pakistan bowling attack.<br />

Shabir Ahmed Biography</h2>
<div>
Source:(google.com.pk)</div>
<div>
Shabbir Ahmed (born April 21, 1976 in Khanewal) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a line-and-length pace bowler who took eight wickets for 109 runs on his Test debut against Bangladesh in the first of their 2003-04 three-Test series, including five wickets in the second innings.[1] He also had an impressive start to his One-Day International career after picking up three wickets (all three bowled out) with two wickets in his very first over, in his debut against the West Indies at TorontoShabbir Ahmed is a tall (6'5"), Pakistani fast bowler. He extracts a great deal of bounce, even on lifeless wickets, and bowling from close to the stumps - much like Glenn McGrath - allows him to stick to a tight wicket-to-wicket line. He seams and cuts more than he swings, often sharply and both ways and is a sound exponent of reverse swingUntil then he had taken 51 wickets in just 10 Tests, but in 2005 after playing the first Test against England he was reported to the ICC for an illegal bowling action. Following an investigation into his action, Ahmed was banned from cricket for one year in December 2005As of 21 December 2006, having completed his one-year term, Shabbir is once again eligible to play International Cricket. However if Shabbir is reported again, he will be suspended from bowling at international level until his action is reassessed.[8][9] Currently Shabbir is playing in the Pakistani domestic competition.</div>

Danish Kaneria Biography</h2>
<div>
Source:(Google.com.pk)</div>
<div>
Danish Prabha Shanker Kaneria (Urdu: دانش پربھا شنکر کنیریا; born 16 December 1980 in Karachi, Pakistan) is a Hindu Pakistani cricketer. He has continued the tradition of great Pakistani leg spin bowlers and possesses a very well disguised googly. In Test matches, Kaneria holds the record for most wickets by any Pakistani spin bowler and fourth on the list of most Test wickets overall, only behind Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Imran Khan.<br />
After allegations of being involved in spot fixing, Kaneria was given a lifetime ban by the England and Wales Cricket Board, preventing him from playing in matches under their jurisdiction. He subsequently filed an appeal against the ban,[2] but this was rejected in July 2013.[3]He made his international debut in 2000 against England at Faisalabad. In January 2002, he took 7 wickets for 77 runs in the Test match against Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, which are his career best figures so far in Test cricket. Earlier, in the same season, he had taken 6 wickets in an innings twice against Bangladesh during Bangladesh's tour of Pakistan. In October 2004, he took 10 wickets against Sri Lanka at Karachi, with a second-innings haul of 7/109, setting up Pakistan's 6-wicket win. More recently he has played an important role in Pakistan's Test wins over West Indies, England and India. In December 2009, He took 7/168 in the 1st innings of the 3rd Test match against New Zealand at Napier. Pakistan managed to draw that game. Since then he has not played for Pakistan.<br />
One Day Internationals[edit source<br />
In One Day International cricket, he has been economical so far with an economy rate under 4.8 runs per over. His best bowling in ODIs came against New Zealand in Sri Lanka in 2003. He also had a good series against Zimbabwe in Sharjah just before that.<br />
Success in the one day arena has been more elusive, Pakistan usually opting to play the two spinning all-rounders Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik or Saeed Ajmal instead.<br />
County cricket[edit source<br />
Kaneria has impressed in English county cricket, taking 32 wickets in seven championship matches for Essex in 2005. Although unable to play English county cricket in 2006 due to Pakistan's tour of England, he returned to play for Essex in 2007, taking 107 wickets for the County in all forms of the game.[4] He played for Essex again in 2008, although he missed the start of the campaign due to his wife giving birth to their second child. Kaneria suffered a broken finger in Essex's LV County Championship Division Two match against Worcestershire at Colchester on 21 August 2008. The bowler was injured attempting to take a catch off Ben Smith. An X-ray confirmed he had broken a finger and he missed the remainder of the 2008 English domestic season.<br />
Arrest and release (2010)[edit source | editbeta<br />
In May 2010, he was arrested in connection with “match irregularities” in the 2009 domestic season. The investigations are believed to focus on a NatWest Pro40 match in September 2009, which Essex won.[5] In September 2010, police told Kaneria that the investigation had been closed and that he had been cleared of any allegations.<br />
<br />
He was selected for the two-match test series against South Africa but shortly after the PCB stopped Kaneria from playing in the series. No reason was given.<br />

<span style="font-weight: normal;">
Imran Farhat Biography</span></h2>
<div>
Source:(Google.com.pk)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Imran Farhat (Urdu: عمران فرحت, born 20 May 1982 ) is a Pakistani cricketer who has played over 30 Tests and One Day Internationals for Pakistan, opening the batting in most of his international innings.Farhat made his senior debut aged 15 in a one-day match for Karachi City against Malaysia, together with three other players who went on to play Test cricket (Taufeeq Umar, Bazid Khan and Kamran Akmal). Three years later, in February 2001, Farhat made his One Day International debut, against New Zealand in Auckland, scoring 20 runs in a chase of 150 to win. After the tour of New Zealand, where Farhat played three Tests and three ODIs, he was sent back to domestic cricket before returning against Australia in the third Test of the 2002–03 series, where he made 30 and 22 in an innings defeat. However, he was retained for the home two-Test series against South Africa in 2003–04, where he scored 235 runs including a maiden Test century in a 1–0 series win, second behind fellow opener Taufeeq Umar.<br />
A month later, Farhat played in an ODI-only series against New Zealand, which Pakistan won 5–0, and Farhat made three fifties along with his second international century, ending with 348 runs at a batting average of 69.60, once again the second-highest amount of runs – this time behind Yasir Hameed. The season was rounded off with another century, this time against India, where he made 101 to help Pakistan gain a 202-run first-innings lead and eventually won the match by nine wickets. However, Farhat tallied 81 runs in the other two matches, which Pakistan lost to lose the series 1–2.<br />
Farhat was less impressive the following season, however, and in four Tests, two against Sri Lanka and two against Australia, he only passed fifty twice, ending the season with 199 runs at 24.87 before the selectors left him out for the third Test of the series with Australia. In September 2004, just before the 2004–2005 season, he had been dropped from the ODI side following the 2004 Champions Trophy, as he had failed to pass 40 with any of his last ten innings, and that included 38 not out against the non-Test nation of Kenya, 20 against ODI debutants Hong Kong and 24 against Bangladesh.<br />
He continued to score heavily in the domestic competitions and a century in a practise game against the visiting Indian team was rewarded with a place in the squad to take on India in the Test series (2006). He returned to Test cricket in style, with an important half century in the deciding third Test at Karachi. He scored a brilliant unbeaten century in the final test against New Zealand in 2009. His brother Humayun Farhat has also played International cricket for Pakistan.<br />

<b>Salman Butt Biography</b></h2>
<div>
<b>Source:(Google.com.pk)</b></div>
<div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Salman started in the Under-17s and quickly progressed through Under-19 level, although at that time he was much younger than the age limits suggest, making his senior debut for Lahore Whites in 2000 aged only 19. His talent was noticed immediately, which led to him being given a place in the Pakistan A team against England soon after. However, instead of rushing straight for the limelight of international cricket, he got his head down and consolidated by playing consistently for his region and the youth teams, until the Pakistan selectors finally drafted him in 2003.[3]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">

<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">After his debut, Butt was dropped, and he struggled to regain his place due to some stiff competition for the openers' spots. He returned for the Champions' Trophy in 2004 and scored his first fifty for Pakistan in the Paktel Cup against Sri Lanka. In the ODI against India on 13 November 2004, as Pakistan chased down 292, he formed partnerships first with Shoaib Malik, putting on 113, and subsequently with Inzamam-Ul-Haq. Despite having retired for seven overs due to severe cramp, he returned to steer Pakistan home, finishing on 108 not out.[4]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Yet 2005 saw little improvement, and doubts circulated about his defensive technique, causing him to be shuffled in and out of the side. But things started looking up again during the winter Test series against England, in which he scored a century and two fifties, with a more cautious attitude to his innings building than he had previously shown.[5On 17 July 2010, the Pakistan Cricket Board appointed Butt as captain of the Pakistani Test squad in place of Shahid Afridi, who announced his retirement from Test cricket after Pakistan lost the first test match against Australia.[6] He became the 28th captain of the Pakistani Test team and the fifth to lead them since January 2009.[6]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">On 23 July 2010, Salman Butt led Pakistan to victory against Australia in his first appearance as Pakistan's test team captain.</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Spot-fixingn August 2010, Butt and two other players, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif, were among those named by a News of the World sting where undercover reporters paid an agent loosely affiliated with several players on Pakistan's squad a bribe in return for detailed information on when no-balls would be deliberately bowled.</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Butt, Amir, and Asif were dropped from Pakistan team for the limited-over series (two Twenty20 games, and five ODI games). However, on 2 September 2010, after the warm-up List A game between Pakistan and Somerset, the International Cricket Council announced that they had suspended Asif, Amir and Butt under the provisions of the ICC's Anti-Corruption Code. The statement from the ICC stated that the three players were charged "under various offences under Article 2 of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code for Players and Player Support Personnel relating to alleged irregular behaviour during, and in relation to, the fourth Test between England and Pakistan at Lord's last month".[7]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">Later it became known that Butt and the other two players implicated in the scandal were in possession of bills with the same serial numbers as those the reporter had paid Majeed earlier. Butt was provisionally suspended from playing International Cricket due to the fact that the ICC wanted his name cleared before he resumes playing cricket. In late September, Butt filed an appeal to the ICC asking them to lift his temporary suspension.[8] After Mohammad Asif had dropped his appeal against the charges so that he could understand the charges filed against him, Butt said he was determining to prove his innocence and that his appeal was going to go ahead.[9]</span></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 19.1875px;">In an interview with the Associated Press, Butt stated "I do not want to comment on The News of the World because everybody knows what kind of paper it is. Everybody knows about its reputation across the world." He also stated that he was linked to Mazhar Majeed as a player agent but not in any spot-fixing. He also stated that the video can easily be edited and modified and manipulated.</span></span></div>

<b>Majid Khan Biography</b></h2>

<div>
Majid Jahangir Khan (Urdu:ماجدجہانگيرخان) is a former cricketer, a former captain of the Pakistan cricket team and one of the most fearless opening batsman produced by Pakistan. Khan's first-class career spanned from 1961 to 1985. He played 63 Tests for Pakistan, scoring 3,931 runs and made 8 centuries, scored over 27,000 first-class runs and made 73 first-class centuries, with 128 fifties.[1] Majid played his last test for Pakistan in January 1983 against India at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore[2] and his last One Day International (ODI) was in July 1982 against England at Old Trafford, Manchester.[3]Born on 28 September 1946 in Ludhiana, in the state of Punjab in India, Khan grew up in Lahore, the capital of the Punjab in Pakistan. His father, Jahangir Khan, had played Test cricket for India before partition. Majid Khan started his career as a pace bowler, but an injury and doubts over his technique converted him into an off-spin bowler and batsman. He also played for the teams of Glamorgan and Cambridge University in England, for Queensland, Australia, and in Pakistan for Pakistan International Airlines, Rawalpindi and the province of Punjab. Majid Khan is the son of Dr. Jahangir Khan who famously killed a bird in flight while bowling during an MCC vs. Cambridge University match in 1936.[4][5] This bird is now part of the permanent MCC museum exhibit at Lord's Cricket ground.[6] Dr. Jahangir Khan was the Chief Selector of then Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan (BCCP) when Majid Khan was close to National selection. Dr. Jahangir Khan resigned from his post to maintain impartiality of the Cricket board during selection of the national team.</div>

International career[edit source | editbeta]</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Majid's Test career started in 1964 against Australia at National Stadium, Karachi.[7] Khan is one of only four batsmen (the other three are Trumper, Macartney and Bradman) to have scored a century before lunch in a test match, scoring 108 not-out off 112 balls against New Zealand in Karachi during the 1976–77 test series.[8][9] Khan made his ODI debut against New Zealand in 1973 at Lancaster Park, New Zealand.[10] He also holds the unique honour of scoring the first one day century for Pakistan, in an ODI against England at Trent Bridge on 31 August 1974.[11][12][13] Khan scored 109 from 93 balls with 16 fours and a six.[11][12]</div>
<div>
Majid had played for Lahore since 1961/62 and had made his Test debut against Australia in 1964/65 and toured England with the 1967 Pakistanis. During a match with Glamorgan, Majid blasted a rapid 147 in 89 minutes, hitting Roger Davis for five sixes in one over. Wilf Wooller, the club secretary, had been a close friend of Majid's father when Dr Jahangir Khan had been up at Cambridge, and the influential Glamorgan secretary persuaded Glamorgan county to sign him as the overseas player from 1968. In 1972 he won the Walter Lawrence Trophy for the season’s fastest century which he scored in 70 minutes for Glamorgan against Warwickshire. He captained the Welsh county between 1973 and 1976, scored over 9000 runs punctuated with 21 first-class centuries for them. Imran Khan, the legendary Pakistani ex-captain and fast bowler, and Javed Burki are his cousins.Bazid Khan,[20] Majid's son, has also played for Pakistan, making the family the second, after the Headleys, to have three consecutive generations of Test cricketers.</div>
<div>
Initially, Majid Khan continued to boost Pakistan's middle order, until he was promoted to fill the opener's slot with Sadiq Mohammad in 1974.[22][23] He was the first century scorer for Pakistan in One Day International Cricket, scoring 108 runs against England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham in the same season. Majid Khan was also a specialist slip fielder and made most catches look easy. Khan was also well known as a "walker", maintaining the standards of the game in an era when professionalism was straining at the game's traditional etiquette.</div>
<div>
The 1976–77 tour of West Indies was the most remarkable period for Majid Khan, where he scored scored 530 test runs against one of the most powerful bowling attacks in the history of the game. His best innings was perhaps the 167 in Pakistan's second innings at Georgetown that saved Pakistan from likely defeat. Pakistan lost that series .</div>

<b>Ijaz Ahmed Biography</b></h2>
<div>

<div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.1875px; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
Ijaz had the lowest batting average of the team, with a Test average of 38 and an ODI average of 32, but he did hit six Test centuries against the world's top-ranked side for much of his career, <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_cricket_team" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Australian cricket team">Australia</a> – which is a record number of centuries by a Pakistani against Australia, shared with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javed_Miandad" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Javed Miandad">Javed Miandad</a>.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.1875px; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
However, in Test cricket he had a habit of being dismissed for low scores, as 33 of his 92 innings yielded single-figure scores and 54 of them yielded scores below 20.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.1875px; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
Ijaz Ahmed came into the national side at the height of the Imran Khan era, and remained on the fringes for near a decade, despite several good scores, he struggled to find consistency, a trait for which his legendary captain had little patience, though Imran appreciated his hard work and determination per Wasim Akram. Dropped after the 1992 World Cup (true to his overshadowed nature he played in most of the games including the final, with few highlights, many people are unaware of his presence in the team), he worked on his game and came back strongly the following season and established himself at the pivotal "one down" position. He was competent if not spectacular in this role for many years, though he did play a few highly memorable knocks especially in ODIs. After the 1999 World Cup (where he performed poorly and was blamed for the batting collapse in the final) he was dropped, he returned after a few months, however by then the arrival of <a class="mw-redirect" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Younis_Khan" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Younis Khan">Younis Khan</a>, a player who matched Ijaz's determination, but exceeded his talent and technique (though he is also in the unorthodox mould)had made Ijaz's place in the side at one down doubtful and indeed after a few matches against England and then New Zealand in 2000/2001, in which he was singularly unimpressive, he was dropped never to return</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19.1875px; margin-bottom: 0.5em; margin-top: 0.4em;">
He was a regular in the ODI tam especially, as his 250 matches is the fifth-highest of all time in Pakistan, behind <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasim_Akram" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Wasim Akram">Wasim Akram</a>,<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inzamam-ul-Haq" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Inzamam-ul-Haq">Inzamam-ul-Haq</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saleem_Malik" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Saleem Malik">Saleem Malik</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waqar_Younis" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Waqar Younis">Waqar Younis</a>. He appeared in 4 World Cups and was a World Cup winner in 1992. Ijaz was a powerful hitter, especially on the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leg_side" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Leg side">leg side</a> of the pitch.</div>
<h2 style="background-color: white; background-image: none; border-bottom-color: rgb(170, 170, 170); border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-width: 1px; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 19px; font-weight: normal; line-height: 19.1875px; margin: 0px 0px 0.6em; overflow: hidden; padding-bottom: 0.17em; padding-top: 0.5em;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">A powerful hitter of the ball with his bat, Ijaz got popularity, after becoming the 2nd Pakistani Batsman who scored 10 ODI centuries after Saeed Anwar. He played some memorable innings against countries like, India, England, Australia, West Indies,</span><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Lanka" style="background-image: none; color: #0b0080; font-size: 13px; text-decoration: none;" title="Sri Lanka">Sri Lanka</a><span style="font-size: 13px;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">and South Africa. At Lahore, in 1997, Ijaz collapsed the Indian bowling attack by making a quick century of just 68 balls including 9 sixes, remaining not out for 139*, and this is his highest score in the ODI. In the following year, He again returned with his 132 against Zimababwe in the 3rd and decisive ODI of home series. In Pepsi cup 1999, played in India, Ijaz helped his team to victory in the second round match against India by scoring 90 not out. Pakistan was given an easy target of 197, but the number of overs were reduced from 50 to 47, due to slow over rate by Pakistan. Initially Pakistan lost its first 3 wickets for just 21 runs, when Ijaz Ahamd joined his traditional partner Inzamam ul Haq and attained victory for their side, both remaining not out on 90 and 78 respectively. In the same year after Pepsi cup, Pakistan cricket team visited Sharjah to participate in the tri-nation cricket tournament with England and India. In the opening match against England, Ijaz scored a memorable innings of 137 and was out just two runs short of his highest score which he has scored against India in 1997.</span></span></h2>

<b>Saleem Malik Biography</b></h2>

<div>
<div>
Saleem Malik (Urdu: سلیم ملک) (16 April 1963) (also known as Salim Malik) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played between 1981/82 and 1999, at one stage captaining the Pakistani cricket team. He was a right-handed wristy middle order batsman who was strong square of the wicket. His legbreak bowling was also quite effective. Despite playing over 100 Tests he would go down in cricket history as the first of a number of international cricketers to be banned for match fixing around the start of the 21st century. Saleem is the brother-in-law of former teammate Ijaz Ahmed.[1]Malik played his first Test match in March 1982, against Sri Lanka at Karachi.[2] After making 12 in his first innings he made an unbeaten 100 in the second to set up a declaration. Aged 18 years and 323 days he was at the time the second youngest player to make a century on Test debut.[3]</div>
<div>
During the tour of England in 1987, Malik fell for 99 at Headingley and made 102 at The Oval. He would become familiar with English conditions, playing for Essex for a couple of years during the early 1990s. He had a good season in 1991, scoring 1972 runs, the 3rd most by a non-English player for Essex.[4] In Test cricket he performed better against England than any other of his opponents, appearing 19 times and making 1396 runs at 60.70.[5]</div>
<div>
One of his notable performances in One Day International cricket was an innings that he played against India in 1987.[6] Chasing 238 in 40 overs, Pakistan were reduced to 5/161 when Saleem arrived at the crease. He scored 72 out of the remaining 77 runs required, making them from just 36 deliveries. He finished unbeaten and Pakistan won by 2 wickets with 3 balls still to spare in the match.</div>
<div>
He captained Pakistan in 12 Tests, winning 7. In ODI cricket he led his country 34 times and won 21 of them.</div>

In 2000, Lt-General <a class="new" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tauqir_Zia&action=edit&redlink=1" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #a55858; text-decoration: none;" title="Tauqir Zia (page does not exist)">Tauqir Zia</a>, then the PCB chairman, said that the board would choose the next captain – not based on seniority alone – and if people find the choice unacceptable they will not be selected. Later – in front of some senior players – he told Azhar Mahmood that he will be the next Pakistan captain. Together they would plan the future strategy. But till now this never came to happen.<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azhar_Mahmood#cite_note-5" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none; white-space: nowrap;">[5]</a></div>

He was recalled to the national side for the ODI series against South Africa in early 2007,<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azhar_Mahmood#cite_note-8" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none; white-space: nowrap;">[8]</a> but subsequently dropped when the<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Cricket_World_Cup" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="2007 Cricket World Cup">2007 Cricket World Cup</a> team was announced. He was however recalled to go with the squad to the West Indies after a knee injury to<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Razzaq_(cricketer)" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Abdul Razzaq (cricketer)">Abdul Razzaq</a>. However, aside from playing in a practice match, Azhar did not get a chance to participate in the World Cup and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistan" style="background-image: none; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; color: #0b0080; text-decoration: none;" title="Pakistan">Pakistan</a>'s early exit from the tournament meant that he was once again, in line for being axed from the national squad. Following his exclusion, Azhar returned to playing county cricket in UK. Over the years, due to his constant exclusion from the Pakistani squad and the fact that he has crossed the 30-year mark in his age, it seems that Mahmood is not as interested in returning to Pakistani line up as he once was. His weight gain, mediocre performances in ODIs, combined with the tough competition for the all rounder slot in the Pakistani line up means that his chances for making a return to the national squad are very limited. Muhammad Yousaf Biography</h2>
Source:(google.com.pk)<br />
Mohammad Yousuf (Punjabi, Urdu: محمد یوسف ; formerly Yousuf Youhana, یوسف یوحنا; born 27 August 1974) is a Pakistani right-handed batsman. Prior to his conversion to Islam in 2005, Yousuf was one of only a few Christians to play for the Pakistan cricket team.<br />
Yousuf was effectively banned from playing international cricket for Pakistan, for an indefinite period by the Pakistan Cricket Board on 10 March 2010, following an inquiry into the team's defeat during the tour of Australia.[1] An official statement was released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, saying that he would not be selected again on the grounds of inciting infighting within the team.[1]<br />
On 29 March 2010, Yousuf announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket,[2] a direct reaction to the indefinite ban handed out to him by PCB. However following Pakistan's disastrous first Test against England in July/August 2010, PCB decided to ask Yousuf to come out of retirement.Yousuf was born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan to a low caste Hindu Balmiki family who later converted to Christianity.[4] His father Youhana Maseeh worked at the railway station, the family lived in the nearby Railway Colony. As a boy, he couldn't afford a bat and so swatted his brother's taped tennis ball offerings with wooden planks of various dimensions on surfaces masquerading as roads. As a 12-year-old, he was spotted by the Golden Gymkhana, though even then only circumstances dictated his ambitions and never thought of playing cricket, to make a living. He joined Lahore's Forman Christian College and continued playing until suddenly giving up in early 1994.[5] For a time he tried his luck driving rickshaws in Bahawalpur.[6]<br />
Yousuf, hailing from poor background, was plucked from the obscurity of a tailor's shop in the slums of the eastern city of Lahore to play a local match in the 1990s. His well-crafted shots attracted attention and he rose through the ranks to become one of Pakistan's best batsman. He was set to work at a tailor's when he was pulled back by a local club was short of players. They called him to make up numbers and made a hundred which led to a season in the Bradford Cricket League, with Bowling Old Lane, and a path back into the game.He made his Test debut against South Africa at Durban and One Day International debut against Zimbabwe at Harare. He has scored over 9,000 One Day International runs at an average above 40 (2nd highest batting average among Pakistani batsmen after Zaheer Abbas) and over 7,000 Test runs at an average above 50 (highest batting average amongst all Pakistani batsmen) with 24 Test centuries. He has the record of scoring the most runs without being dismissed in the One Day International match, with a total of 405 runs against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe in 2002–2003. He has also scored a 23-ball fifty and a 68-ball hundred in One Day International. In Test match, he has scored a 27-ball fifty, which is 3rd fastest by any player. He was the top scorer during the successive years of 2002 and 2003 in the world in One Day International match. In 2004, he scored 111 runs against the Australians in the Boxing Day Test. In December 2005, he scored 223 runs against England at Lahore, also earning him the man of the match award. Seven months later in July 2006, when Pakistan toured England, he scored 202 runs and 48 in the first Test, again earning himself the man of the match award. He followed up with 192 in the third Test at Headingley and 128 in the final Test at The Oval.<br />

<b>Mohsin Khan Biography</b></h2>
<div>
<b>Source:(Google.com.pk)</b><br />
Mohsin Hasan Khan (Urdu: محسن حسن خان; born 15 March 1955, Karachi, Sindh) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in 48 Tests and 75 ODIs from 1977 to 1986 mainly as an opening batsman. Pakistan against India at Lahore in 1982–83, he scored 101 not out of Pakistan's second-innings total of 135/1. This is the lowest team score in Test cricket to have included a century.[1]</div>
<div>
Mohsin was one of a minority of South Asian players to come to terms with conditions in Australia and England, scoring two consecutive centuries in Australia in 1983/4[2] and becoming the first Pakistani batsman to score a Test double century at Lord's, which he did earlier in 1982.[3] He retired from international cricket to pursue a film career.</div>
<div>
Mohsin later married Bollywood movie star Reena Roy and had a short career as an actor in the Indian film industry. He has since divorced Roy and remarried and lives in Karachi, Pakistan. He has a daughter with Reena Roy, who now lives with her mother in India. He had named his daughter Jannat, but she is now called Sanam.</div>
<div>
On 2 March 2010 Mohsin Khan was named Iqbal Qasim's successor as chief selector of the Pakistan national cricket team. He accepted the role turned down by fellow one-time opener Saeed Anwar. Mohsin is Pakistan's fourth chief of selectors in the 12 months of 2009–10.</div>

Rameez Hasan Raja (Urdu: رميزراجہ; born 14 August 1962) is a former Pakistani right handed batsman in cricket, who represented the Pakistan cricket team during the 1980s and 1990s. He also been captain of the national team. Since retiring from professional cricket, he has become a sports and television commentator.Raja was born in faisalabad in Pakistan and studied at Saint Anthony's High School Lahore and Aitchison College, Lahore and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. His brother, Wasim Raja, also played Test cricket for Pakistan and another brother, Zaeem Raja, played First-class cricket in Pakistan. He completed his masters degree at Oxford University.Raja made his First class cricket debut in 1978. He received his opportunity to play in a Test match against England. His performance was unimpressive, as he was dismissed for 1 run in each innings. However, with the retirement of several players in the Pakistan squad and with the help of his years of experience in first class cricket, Raja was able to secure a spot in the national side.<br />
Raja played international cricket for 13 years, appearing in 57 Test matches, with a career average of 31.83 and scoring two centuries. In the One Day International arena, he played 200 matches and scored 9 centuries. He was a member of the national side that reached the semi finals of the 1987 World Cup. He scored 2 centuries in the 1992 World Cup, which was held in Australia, including a century, against New Zealand, who had been un defeated during that period. Raja was awarded the man of the match for his match winning performance which earned Pakistan a place in the semi-finals of the tournament. In the final against England, Raja had the honour of taking the final catch which won the world cup for Pakistan. This became the pinnacle of his cricketing career, as within a year of this triumph, he had lost form and was dropped from the national side.<br />
However, he was recalled back to the Pakistan squad and played in the 1996 cricket World Cup. During the 1995–1996 season, he was removed from the captaincy, after Pakistan lost their first home series to Sri Lanka. His final game in a Test match for Pakistan, was as captain in the 1996–1997 tour of Sri Lanka, however the team failed to win a match during the series. He retired from all forms of cricket in 1997 and since then he has been active as a television commentator and as an administrator for both Pakistan and International cricket.<br />
Raja has worked as a commentator on Test Match Special and Sky Sports, during the 2006 England Test series against Pakistan. He has also worked as the chief executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board, but resigned from his job in August 2004, citing increasing media commitments<br />
